GlobalMedic Auction Event

GlobalMedic is a quick response organization assisting people in times of trouble.


They respond to natural disasters with quick response turnovers. They are right there in the midst of chaos helping those in need within a few days of the emergency. GlobalMedic operates a Rapid Response Team (RRT) thatis staffed by professional rescuers including police officers, firefighters andparamedics who volunteer their time to respond overseas.


What better way then to help this charity continue to do the great work that they do. Helping with this gala will ensure that this organization will be able to continue to do great things.


This is a call to all artists.


On the evening of May 2, 2008, the Auction Committee of GlobalMedic will hold its fundraising auction event to provide funds for future deployments. As GlobalMedic has no overhead, all funds raised will go straight to emergency programs.

While the event provides for a variety of interesting activities, the main attraction will be the auction and raffle of high quality items contributed by generous local and national retailers, manufacturers and distributors.

This is a call to all artists who are willing and able to donate their artwork to help make our banquet a success.

I have several pieces from artists such as Robert Bateman Bev Doolittle.
If I were to donate these pieces of art for a silent auction would I be able to get a tax receipt?
