It began as a collaboration between artists and supporters in the business and philanthropic world as a way to bring attention to the pressing need around the world of millions of people living in poverty, war and need.

All children have a right to education and basic health care. The Lumu Kabasindi Foundation (LKF) focuses on the mission of providing orphaned children of HIV/AIDS in Africa with food, shelter, education and health care. LKF`s initiative is framed by the vision of helping to nurture orphans in developing skills through quality education in order to be self-sustaining members of the global community. This idea was instilled in the heart of artist David Kibuuka by his parent`s Bossa Lumu and Kajoka Kabasindi who loved and helped other children who were not family.
