Join fellow teens to reflect on the themes of Pixy Liao: Relationship Material, an exhibition of Liao’s often humorous self-portraits that document the evolution of her relationship with her partner, Takahiro Morooka (諸岡高裕).
Participants will experiment with collage techniques, combining found images to challenge normative gender roles and envision relationships that foreground love and liberation.
Plus, drop by to keep the art making going during Open Studio hours on Friday, August 15 and Saturday, August 16 from 11:00–3:00. You’re welcome whether or not you join us on August 14.
This program is open to all experience levels. All materials are provided.
